Parliament condemns Israeli bombing of Damascus, desecration of holy sites in Mecca

The Presidency of the Yemeni Parliament strongly condemned the missile shelling carried out by the Israeli enemy on some areas in Damascus countryside, which led to death and injury of more than 10 people.

The Presidency of the Yemeni Parliament expressed its condolences to the families of the victims of this brutal Zionist aggression, stressing the solidarity and standing of the Yemeni people by the parliament, government and people of Syria.

It stressed that the continuous attacks of the Zionist entity on Syria are violation of the sovereignty of Arab country and international principles and laws.

The Parliament expressed its denunciation of the situation that the nation has reached in light of Arab weakness, led by Saudi Arabia and UAE, and their preoccupation with offending Islamic feelings and sanctities.

It stated that it had followed up on those documented scenes that were circulated to the correspondent of the Hebrew channel in the holy sites in Mecca and Madinah during the days of the pilgrimage.

It called on Arab parliamentarians, media professionals, thinkers and scholars to break their silence, and condemn the actions of the Saudi regime offensive to the sanctities and feelings of the Islamic Nation.
