President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Wednesday directed Head of the General Authority for Zakat to pay debts of those insolvent who have completed the penalty period, and still held for private rights.
During his meeting with the Attorney General, Judge Mohammed Al-Dailami, President Al-Mashat was briefed on reports of the Attorney General’s visits to prisons for 1443 HA, and the Public Prosecution plan for 1444 HA.
The situation of the Public Prosecution and its workflow, as well as the efforts made to activate the role of prosecutions offices in the capital Sana’a and the provinces and assess their performance were discussed in the meeting.
In the meeting, President Al-Mashat urged the proper managing of criminal justice affairs so that the innocent would not be wronged and the criminal would not escape punishment.
