fishermen in Shabwa governorate were harassed and prevented by the aggression from engaging in fishing activities in the waters of the governorate.

The Minister of Fisheries, Mohammad Al-Zubayri, said in a statement to “26 September” that the coalition of aggression and its mercenaries prevented the fishermen from carrying out their normal activities in the areas of Al-Nashima and Arqa in Shabwa, after the events in the governorate.

Al-Zubayri added that the mercenaries of the aggression force the fishermen to load weapons on their boats and expose them to dangers, which prompted the fishermen to gather and reject this barbaric behavior by the aggression and its mercenaries.

The Minister of Fisheries condemned what fishermen are subjected to in the areas under occupation of abuse and looting of their equipment and blocking the doors to their sources of livelihood.
