The Presidency of the Yemeni Parliament praised the Supreme Political Council’s affirmation of keenness to preserve Yemen’s unity and full sovereignty and to preserve its wealth and capabilities.
In its meeting on Saturday, chaired by the Speaker of the Parliament Yahya Al-Rahi, the Presidency of the Parliament denounced what the US-Saudi aggression are doing of tampering with the capabilities of the Yemeni people, plundering its wealth, and its quest to tear Yemen apart and undermine its unity.
The Parliament also held the UN and its envoy to Yemen and the humanitarian and human rights organizations responsible for their shameful silence towards the suffering of the Yemeni people.
It pointed to the extent of the failure of those international bodies to perform their role and not fulfill their duties in providing urgent relief in the humanitarian aspects to confront the catastrophic effects of the aggression and siege.
It renewed its warning against the suspicious movements of the Council of Saudi-Emirati tools that impersonate the Parliament. They no longer have any legal, constitutional or public status after their betrayal and neglect of national sovereignty, which led to their membership being revoked. Therefore, any dealings or agreements concluded by them with countries, companies or bodies are considered void, and do not carry any constitutional or legal status.
It affirmed that Yemen and the Yemeni people retain the legal and constitutional right to sue them before national and international courts and prosecute them as war criminals.
