The 8th Orthopedic Scientific Conference, organized by the Association of Orthopedic Surgeons in Yemen, will start in Sana’a, on Wednesday, with the participation of 600 consultants and orthopedic specialists from different provinces.
The Head of the Association and Chairman of the Conference, Dr. Anwar Moghales, said in a press statement that the two-day conference aims to present and share the latest research and technologies in the field of orthopedic surgery, in addition to exchanging experiences and updating methods of diagnosis and treatment.
He stated that the conference also aims to enhance communication between the association’s doctors from all provinces and to strengthen national unity in light of the existing challenges and conditions of war and its repercussions on the health infrastructure in particular.
