President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat inaugurated on Sunday the National Steadfastness Program in the Parliament.

At the inauguration, President A-Mashat said in a speech that “the war is not over yet, but it continues and in multiple ways and its weapon is awareness at this stage.”

He added: “We have pledged to preserve this country, to protect its unity and independence, and to preserve its sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity until we obtain full sovereignty for every inch of the national territory.”

President Al-Mashat affirmed that the Yemeni unity is not political as some imagine, but it is a social, geographical, topographical, and historical unity.

“The unity is not between political partners, but rather the unity of a country, heritage and history, and no one can transcend all of that,” he said, stressing that “The Yemeni unity will remain no matter how enemies conspire against it.”

He considered all external measures as “measures of occupation and have no legitimacy.”

On what is happening in the southern provinces, President Al-Mashat pointed out that the problems in some eastern and southern provinces were fabricated, and only the greedy occupiers were behind them.

The President of the Supreme Political Council renewed the call for the deceived, saying: “The door of amnesty is still open, go back to your senses, as the ambitions of the invaders and occupiers have appeared at this time more than ever before if you have a mind.”

He addressed state officials, saying: “Responsibility is a trust in your neck, and if you cannot produce, then apologize. This I have repeated many times, and I know that the situation is difficult, and the capabilities are scarce, and they may be non-existent, but in light of all these challenges we must produce and devise solutions.”

President Al-Mashat also stressed that media discipline will be monitored to be up-to-date and realistic, and not a demolition weapon, but rather it must keep with, encourage, build and develop people’s culture.

Concerning the oil derivatives crisis, President Al-Mashat indicated that consultations will be held in the Political Council to take the decision.”

President Al-Mashat stressed the need to strengthen steadfastness, on top of this is to serve the citizen.

He added, “We will advance our country if community initiatives are exploited and associations and cooperatives are established. I urge all governorates to advance in this aspect.”

President Al-Mashat addressed the citizens, saying: “We will be by your side, because you deserve all the best from us, and that we stay up and work hard to achieve everything that serves you.”
