Dhaifullah Al-Shami, Minister of Information in the National Salvation Government, praised preparations and arrangements for the third collective wedding celebration of over 10,000 grooms and brides in the capital, Sana’a, on Monday.
During his visit on Sunday night to the square of the celebration, Al-Shami pointed out that at a time when the world is trying to erase values and morals, the besieged Yemeni people, who are suffering the scourge of aggression and siege, are keen to hold such events to facilitate marriage and immunize young people.
He hailed the General Authority for Zakat’s interest in taking care of the segment of the poor and unable to complete half of their religion by marriage, which carries out this work to please God and disburse Zakat to the eight categories mentioned in the Holly Quraan to whom Zakat is given (disbursement channels)
