The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, affirmed that the Supreme Political Council’s warning to foreign companies looting Yemen’s Oil is a national decision to preserve the people’s wealth.
This came after the continuation of US-Saudi aggression and its mercenaries to plunder the oil and natural resources of the Yemeni people.
He explained that the decision taken by the Supreme Political Council to warn foreign companies against the continued looting of the oil and natural resources of the Yemeni people is applicable, and does not conflict with efforts and endeavors to end the military aggression.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs indicated that Sana’a is still extending its hand to peace and affirms its readiness to renew the truce if it is aimed at creating the conditions for reaching a comprehensive peaceful political settlement by ending the military aggression and lifting the comprehensive siege.
Recently, Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf affirmed failure to respond to the humanitarian demands presented by Sana’a shows lack of seriousness by the US-Saudi Aggression in moving towards a comprehensive, peaceful political settlement.
He pointed out that previous situations have proved to the world seriousness of Sana’a’s warnings, and that the US-Saudi aggression was aiming by extending the truce to make the country live in a state of no war and no peace.
“They are practicing a policy of collective punishment against the Yemeni people to continue to obstruct the entry of ships and to put obstacles in the way of reopening Sana’a International Airport, not to be serious in dealing with issue of salaries and prisoners” he said.
The foreign minister stated that the main goal of the truce was for all parties to work together to end the military aggression, lift the comprehensive siege, and enter into real peace negotiations.
