Defense Minister, Major General Mohammad Al-Atifi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohammad al-Ghumari, sent a letter to the President Mahdi al-Mashat and to members of the Supreme Political Council on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the October 14 revolution.
In the letter, they affirmed that “Yemeni Army’s confrontation of US-Saudi aggression is a strategic choice that cannot be reversed, because our history, civilization, faith, morals, principles and values reject submission to occupiers.”
The letter indicated that the main target of the enemy that it seeks is to destroy Yemen, plunder its resources and wealth, and re-colonize it with a new face under new names.
The letter stressed that “Armed Forces will remain on our terms, either a truce that fulfills the people’s demands, or a war in which Yemeni people will win for their rights and their wealth.”
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of Staff warned the enemy of any military escalation, stressing that the warnings of the Leader of the Revolution represented Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi are serious.
