Transitional Council, loyal to the UAE in southern Yemen, officially accused Saudi Arabia of starting the war on it.
The prominent leader of the council, Abdullah Al-Ghaithi, said that Saudi Arabia has already started implementing its project to weaken the Transitional Council, citing the opposition movement of the Transitional Council in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra and the movement of al-Qaeda in Abyan and Shabwa, in addition to giving what he described as “Houthis” a green light to invade its strongholds.. He also indicated To Riyadh’s standing behind the prevention of presidential members from returning to Aden, in reference to the STC.
Al-Ghaithi’s tweets come at a time when many events are raging in the transitional areas, in light of reports of a repositioning of Al-Qaeda under Saudi supervision, not to mention the developments in eastern Yemen, which ended the council’s ambition to penetrate the most important Yemeni governorates.
