Deaths and injuries resulted of clashes between tribal gunmen in the outskirts of the city of Ma’rib, which is controlled by the Islah party, in northeastern Yemen.
Sources reported that armed men from Hatayk clan clashed with various weapons with others from Agar, who are from the Ubaidah tribe.
Sources confirmed that the tribal clashes left dead and wounded on both sides.
They indicated the mediation of the sheikhs of Ubaidah and Jahm intervened to stop the clashes.
It is noteworthy that Islah , since its takeover of the city of Ma’rib, has been working to fuel tribal conflicts and support the various parties to fight each other, making it easier for it to control the city and consolidating its control over it.
