Violent explosions rocked, on Wednesday, a military base of the Saudi-Emirati alliance in Aden, southern Yemen.
Local sources reported that the explosions were caused by mortar shells that fell in the vicinity of the camp located in the Bir Ahmed area. The source of the shells was unknown and whether they were launched by drones or from nearby areas. Aden witnessed during the evening hours the flying of drones in separate areas.
It was also not known whether the targeting of the camp protected by Saleh’s nephew, and the UAE forces are currently present inside it is related to the recent escalation between the two allies because of securing Maasheq Palace or for other motives.
