The forces of the First Military Region, loyal to the Islah Party, fired live bullets at protesters affiliated with the UAE-backed Transitional Council in Hadramout Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Sources reported that the first military forces dispersed protests in the streets of the city of Seiyun, and reopened the roads by force after the STC activists closed them with stones and damaged tires and set them on fire.

It stated that vehicles from the area raided a residential neighborhood in the center of the city, targeting the house of an activist in the Transitional Council, where they forcibly arrested him, despite the protest of the people.

The Transitional Council and its activists are calling for the withdrawal of the first military zone from Hadramout to Marib, which is met with the complete rejection of its leadership.
