Islah factions began a new strategy by carrying out operations deep in the strongholds of their opponents in Aden.
A human rights activist revealed that the factions led by Amjad Khaled and stationed in the southwestern countryside of Taiz, at the western gate of Aden, had carried out arrests in the ranks of those affiliated with the Transitional Council.
According to Anis al-Sharik, among the detainees was a young man who was transferred to the prison of the transportation brigade led by Khaled in the city of al-Turbah.
This is the first time that these factions have carried out operations of this kind since their expulsion from northern Aden following the August 2019 confrontations, which ended with the transitional factions controlling the city and expelling the factions affiliated with its opponents.
