The Industry and Trade Office in the Capital Sana’a has destroyed nine tons of expired foodstuffs and cosmetics during the current week.
Director of the Industry Office in the Capital Sana’a Majed al-Sada said the expired quantity was destroyed in accordance with legal procedures and with the participation of the Industry and Trade Prosecution.
Al-Sada emphasized the continuation of the field visit to control and inspect markets and commercial establishments, control ration and price violations, destroy expired and damaged materials, and take action against violators and manipulators of citizens’ food.
