The Parliament on Saturday approved returning the draft law on meteorology to the competent committee for further study with the government side and to provide the parliament with the results, so that it can complete its discussion and decide on it.
This came during the discussion of a number of articles of the draft law, in light of the report of the Transport and Telecommunications Committee, and the observations of the Parliament.
The bill aims to regulate and develop existing activities, keep abreast of developments and meet international requirements, in managing meteorological activities, forecasts, early warning and climate, and inspection and control.
