The Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, and his deputy, Abdulsalam Saleh Hashwal Zabia, laid on Sunday a wreath at the tomb of the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a.
Al-Ra’i and Zabia, along with the Secretary General of the Parliament, Abdullah Al-Qasimi, and a number of cadres of the General Secretariat, visited the martyrs’ exhibitions in Al-Sabeen Square.
The Parliament speaker and his deputy noted the importance of commemorating the martyr’s anniversary as an important event to evoke the sacrifices and heroism of the martyrs in the fields of steadfastness and confrontation, and as a fitting tribute to the martyrs’ great sacrifices.
