President inaugurates distribution of professional bags

President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat inaugurated on Sunday in the capital Sana’a the distribution of the professional bags and the start of the financing phase for graduates of the vocational empowerment project “the batch of martyr President al-Sammad”.

The project, which in its first phase, targets 500 young people in 20 vocational and technical programs in Sana’a.

The project, funded by the General Authority for Zakat, aims to distribute the professional bags within the framework of the economic empowerment project.

At the inauguration, President al-Mashat delivered a speech, talking about the importance of celebrating the graduation of a group of young people, distributing professional bags and starting funding in professional fields within the economic empowerment projects implemented by the General Authority for Zakat.

“We are honored and proud of the General Authority for Zakat and its projects and works that surprise us from time to time within the eight channels of spending Zakat,” the President said, pointing to the timing chosen by the Authority to launch the project in conjunction with the anniversary of the Martyr Day, which makes it an indication of the sacrifices of the martyrs and their heroism.

Al-Mashat addressed the graduates by saying, “I assure you that the great martyrs sacrificed their lives for your happiness,” vowing to pay more attention to them.

He considered the inauguration of the distribution of professional bags as one of the fruits of the pure blood that was spilled for the sake of Allah and the oppressed on earth.

Al-Mashat went on saying, “We will work to achieve what the martyrs sacrificed for.” He said that the vocational empowerment project is only one of many others the Zakat Authority is carry out.

“The poor, the needy, and the vulnerable people in Taiz, Hodeida, Amran, Mahweet, Dhamar, Sa’ada, Jawf, Marib, and all the provinces of the Republic, will be reached by the General Authority for Zakat which will take care of them and improve their livelihoods in various fields.”

Al-Mashat added, “Our compass will remain towards all and we will continue to follow this weak segment of the poor, the needy and the weak in all provinces, ,

In implementation of the directives of leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, we will take care of all the people of Yemen, without exception, the President said, stressing that such projects aim to revive the poor, the needy and the vulnerable people in the various provinces to overcome the hostile policies that were practiced against the people of Yemen.

“Our tireless work will continue until our people’s suffering ends,” Al-Mashat said concluding his speech.
