Shura Council Rejects US-Saudi Aggression’s State of No Peace, Nor War

The Shura Council affirmed its complete rejection of all the efforts of the forces of the aggression to keep the situation in Yemen in a state of no peace nor war, and the continuous evasion of addressing the economic and the humanitarian situation of the Yemeni People.

In a statement the council affirmed support for the position of the Supreme Political Council with regard to achieving an honorable and just peace in Yemen, giving priority to resolving the humanitarian file, paying the salaries of state employees, lifting restrictions on Sana’a Airport and Hodeidah port, and ending the siege and aggression.

The Council pointed out the importance of the countries of the aggression coalition being aware of the sensitivity of the humanitarian situation that the Yemeni People have reached, which must be addressed urgently, and not to make flimsy excuses to increase and continue their suffering.

The Council pointed out that the Supreme Political Council and the Yemeni negotiating delegation have always been keen to stress the importance of separating the humanitarian aspect from war and Yemen’s right to an honorable peace that protects its sovereignty, independence and the unity of all its lands.

The Council noted the importance of the aggression coalition forces taking the Supreme Political Council’s warnings seriously and not ignoring and undermining the rightful demands of the Yemeni people and their aspirations to live in peace.

The Council deplored the coalition’s blatant intention to perpetuate the Yemeni bloodshed, tighten the unjust blockade, prevent the entry of oil derivative ships and medicine, and the consequent suspension of public services and the lack of medicines for chronic diseases, especially medicines for kidney failure.

The Shura Council praised the tireless efforts of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman and its continuous efforts to achieve peace in Yemen, address the humanitarian file, the economic situation and end the aggression.

The Council expressed its hope that the discussions of the Omani delegation, which are currently taking place in the capital, Sana’a, would be at the level of the aspirations of the Yemeni People and contribute to developing solutions that the Supreme Political Council has repeatedly emphasized in preparation for finding a suitable ground for ending the aggression and siege.

The Council called on all the Yemeni people and their national forces to continue to raise readiness and readiness for all options of peace and war, support the factors of steadfastness and steadfastness, support the fronts, and support all options to confront the plans of aggression and its conspiracies aimed at destroying and dismembering Yemen and plundering its wealth.
