The Emirati-backed Transitional Council threatened to overthrow the government, in which it participates, by calling for protest marches in the city of Aden, in southern Yemen.
The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council said, during a meeting in Aden, that it refuses to raise the government of Maeen, the customs dollar price for imported goods by 50 percent from 500 riyals to 750 riyals, in addition to its decision to raise the selling price of oil derivatives, and the tariff for water, electricity, and fund accounts.
They demanded the leadership council formed from Saudi Arabia to urgently cancel these decisions, warning of the catastrophic consequences of them, which aim to starve citizens.
