Lahj Governorate, in southern Yemen, witnessed an unprecedented mobilization of the UAE-backed Transitional Council factions.
This coincides with the start of Saudi Arabia’s settlement process for its affiliated factions.
Local sources reported that the transitional factions have implemented a new position along the mountain ranges extending from Radfan to Tur Al-Baha, at the southwestern outskirts of Lahj , indicating that directives have been issued by the transitional leadership to prepare for a possible escalation by the “National Shield” and the Fourth Brigade of Islah.
The transitional movements come after the ” Nation Shield “succeeded in controlling the strategic Kharaz Mountains in Lahj, which overlooks Bab al-Mandab, after confrontations with gunmen affiliated with the transitional.
