leaders of the Transitional Council, the de facto authority in Aden, southern Yemen, expressed fears of Saudi Arabia’s next step to bring the council to its knees.

Media affiliated with the council spread reports and news about bringing in terrorist elements to explode the situation in Aden.

Spread statements attributed to security leaders in the Transitional Council stating that these elements had entered under the name of “Nation Shield “.

For his part, the journalist in the council, Adel Al-Maduri, expected that these elements would carry out assassinations against leaders of the Transitional Council.

These concerns come in light of the continuing crisis between Saudi Arabia and the transitional government, following the latter’s refusal of efforts to hand over the city.

It is not yet clear whether the new campaign aims to confront the Nation Shield reflects new movements in the city.
