Gunmen kidnapped a British citizen in the districts of Wadi and Hadramout desert, which are under the control of forces loyal to the Islah party in eastern Yemen.
Sources reported that gunmen aboard a Hilux forced a British man at gunpoint to board with them while he was in the market of Tarim district, then took him to an unknown destination.
Sources noted that the kidnapped student is studying in the middle school of the scholar Umar bin Hafeez in the city of Tarim.
Last March, two foreign employees working for Doctors Without Borders were kidnapped in the Al-Abr district of Hadramout governorate, and they were released 6 months later.
