Informed sources reported the death of a prominent commander in the UAE-backed Transitional Council forces, in mysterious circumstances.
The sources said that the security director of Lahj, the leader of the Transitional Council and one of its most prominent security and military arms, Saleh Al-Sayed, died suddenly after he fell into the Fifth Brigade in Lahj and was transferred to the German Hospital in Aden.
It added that Saleh Al-Sayed was not complaining of any illness prior to his death, which raises speculation that he was subjected to an assassination operation.
No official statement was issued by the Transitional Council regarding the death of Saleh Al-Sayed, amid expectations that this will be announced in the coming hours.
