Forty of those deceived were released in Taiz Governorate, in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, confirmed the leadership’s keenness to return the deceived to the national ranks and open the way for them through the general amnesty decision.
He called on the released to play their role in defending the homeland and its independence after the plans and conspiracies of aggression were revealed to them.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate for Defense and Security Affairs, Brigadier General Nouruddin Al-Marani, confirmed his keenness to return the deceived to be good citizens and contribute to the battle of defending the homeland.
The director of security of the province, Brigadier General Ahmed Madas called on the deceived to leave the ranks of the aggression and return to their families and villages in safety.
The released detainees expressed their happiness at their release, stressing their support for the homeland and defending its security and stability.
The release was attended by Deputy Governor Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, Muhammad Al-Husseini, Director of Security and Intelligence Brigadier General Sami Abu Talib, and Director of the Central Prison Brigadier General Abdul Hakim Nejad.
