General Department of Women’s Affairs at the General Authority for Awqaf honored a number of female inmates and workers in the women’s section of the Central Correctional Facility in the capital Sana’a, with an amount of three million riyals.
During the visit, the Director of the Department for Women’s Affairs at the Endowment Authority indicated that the honoring coincides with the advent of Eid Al-Fitr and within the framework of the “They Feed Food” project for the fourth phase that the Authority is evaluating.
She affirmed the keenness of the leadership of the General Authority of Endowments and the General Administration for Women to implement its plans and programmes, including taking care of this segment and caring for them to qualify them to become active women in society.
A number of female inmates and workers expressed their happiness for the generous gesture by the General Administration of Women’s Affairs at the General Authority for Awqaf for this initiative.
