President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Tuesday urged the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs to strengthen coordination aspects with humanitarian organizations in humanitarian actions.
This came during his meeting today with the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli.
During the meeting, they reviewed the humanitarian situation worsening in Yemen as a result of the continued aggression and blockade, and the efforts made by the Council to concentrate humanitarian work in priority needs.
The meeting touched on aspects of coordination between the Council and humanitarian organizations, and the facilities provided by the Council to humanitarian action partners to implement sustainable activities and projects that contribute to alleviating the human suffering in the country.
