Taiz merchants issued an important statement denouncing the destruction of a commercial store belonging to a citizen and bullying him without justification.
The statement said, “The Taiz merchants conglomerate condemns and denounces the assault, attack, and smashing of the shop’s glass and valuable phones, the expulsion of the workers, and the closure of the shop by force by the influential Sheikh Muhammad Khaled Ismail Al-Mikhlafi.
The statement indicated that “the attack on Al-Qadi’s shops is an attack on commercial work in Taiz Governorate, a breach of security and stability, and works to create an unsafe environment for merchants.”
The conglomerate concluded its statement, stressing that it “denounces this barbaric act, which is not accepted by Sharia, custom or law, and calls on the security services to quickly arrest the aggressor and provide justice to the merchant.”
