Today, Wednesday, at nine o’clock, a campaign of tweets will be launched on the social networking site “Twitter”, about the targeting of the US-Saudi aggression against the telecommunications sector.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology called, in a statement, of which the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) received a copy, to participate in the tweet campaign to highlight the crimes of aggression and the international silence as a result of the bombing and destruction of the communications infrastructure, which led to an increase in the digital divide and the deprivation of the Yemeni people of communication services.
She noted that the campaign coincides with the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (May 17).
Which is celebrated by the International Telecommunication Union this year under the slogan “Empowering the Least Developed Countries through Information and Communication Technology”.
She urged the ministry to interact with the campaign through the two hashtags:
