The Leadership Academic Program for Military Operations began on Saturday, at the Great Prophet University for Military Sciences, organised by the training and qualification administration of the Ministry of Defence of the Sana’a government.
The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Al-Atifi, said he valued the sacrifices of the armed forces, for its steadfastness and victory in the field, which restored the image and dignity of the Yemeni people to the World.
In a message to the US-Saudi aggression, the Minister of Defence added, “We are ready for everything, whether the US-Saudi aggression wants peace or war.”
He stressed that “what made the armed forces stronger is the interest in specialisations in the Ministry of Defence in all military departments, which showed its effectiveness in the field more.”
For his part, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ali Al-Mushki, affirmed that “Sana’a is serious about peace, which is not available to the other party, represented by American obstruction and Saudi Arabia lack of seriousness.”
He stressed that “the armed forces are ready to proceed with consolidating peace on the ground and ready to return to fighting.”
He noted that “talking about a cease-fire before implementing the provisions of the humanitarian issue is premature,” while nevertheless welcoming the efforts of the UN in this context.
