Ministers of Transport and Public Works of the National Salvation Government stressed the need for Yemen Airways company to commit to scheduling and programming flights for transporting pilgrims registered in Hajj and Umrah offices in Sana’a.
In a meeting, which was attended by the representative of the Office of the UN envoy in Yemen, touched on the suffering and difficulties faced by the pilgrims while traveling by land due to the long distances, rugged and unsafe roads.
They called on the United Nations to pay attention to the humanitarian file as a right guaranteed by international laws and agreements.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements for opening new destinations for travelers for treatment or pilgrims to perform the rites of pilgrimage by air through Sana’a Airport, and return to the homeland easily.
