Transitional Council forces launched a campaign of arrests against members and leaders of the Southern Movement in the city of Aden, against the calls for a popular revolution, denouncing the deterioration of living and service conditions in the coastal city in southern Yemen.
Sources reported that the transitional forces kidnapped the leader of the revolutionary movement, Salim Alawi Al-Mukhairi, after storming his house in the C Class neighborhood.
Sources pointed out that the transitional elements assaulted Al-Mukhairi with rifle butts after his arrest and taking him to prison.
