The city of Aden and other southern governorates witnessed angry popular protests, condemning the collapse of living and security conditions.
Thousands of people from the city of Aden took to the streets in massive demonstrations, protesting the power outages, the deterioration of the local currency, and the continued disregard of the suffering of citizens by the Maeen government.
The city of Zanzibar, the administrative center of Abyan Governorate, also witnessed similar popular protests, condemning the escalation of the electricity crisis and the collapse of the local currency.
In Hadramout, thousands of citizens took to the streets in a number of areas of the province, in demonstrations of anger, in rejection of the stifling crises in the country, especially the absence of government services and the deterioration of economic conditions.
The protests come, in light of a terrifying collapse in the living and security conditions in the areas controlled by the coalition factions, at a time when the Maeen government refuses to find any solutions to address the complex crises.
