Head of SNACC receives citizens’ complaints, takes action thereon

Head of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) in Sana’a, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, on Sunday directed that a number of measures be taken regarding citizens’ complaints related to corruption and abuse of public office.

This came during his meeting with a number of citizens who submitted corruption reports to the authority about abuse of public office and illegal practices that harm public money and the public interest.

Judge Mujahid directed the concerned departments in the authority to act quickly on the communications and complaints submitted by the citizens and encourage them to report cases of corruption and abuse of public office.

He stressed the importance of quickly completing the necessary procedures to complete the reported cases and to take urgent measures in accordance with the provisions of the Anti-Corruption Law.
