Information Minister Dhaifullah Al-Shami met on Wednesday in Sana’a with a number of foreign media delegations currently visiting Yemen.
During his meeting with reporters and journalists of the French Agency, German Television and English-speaking Al Jazeera, the Minister confirmed the Ministry’s willingness to provide facilities to media delegations involved in covering efforts to save the floating reservoir Safer and prevent environmental catastrophe.
It was important for the international media to keep abreast of the steps, phases and actions of the Safer vessel rescue and to keep the world’s public informed of the details and the steps that had accompanied it to prevent environmental catastrophe.
For their part, the media delegations appreciated the facilities provided by the Ministry of Information for the access of foreign media representatives to the capital, Sana’a.
