The President Mehdi Al-Mashat, chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met on Saturday with Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council Abdo Al-Janadi.
During the meeting, they reviewed the work and activities of the Shura Council for the current period, and its role in preparing studies and providing advice to support state institutions and agencies in the implementation of government plans and programs.
The president also praised the efforts of the council at the level of the tasks assigned to it, as well as its role in the social aspect, strengthening resilience under aggression and siege, and actively contributing to the implementation of the requirements of the stage.
