Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi stated that the restrictions imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on the Sana’a airport during the de-escalation phase completely contradicts peace, and turns any talk of peace into a mirage.

Al-Ezzi said in a statement on Wednesday, “Civilian airports remain open in time of peace or war, and the continued siege of Sana’a airport by the coalition is shameful for the international community.”

He pointed out that the coalition seeks to impose a siege on the Yemeni people and prevent humanitarian aid from reaching them, stressing that these practices will not succeed in breaking the will of the Yemeni people.

The Deputy Foreign Minister called on the international community to put more pressure on the coalition to lift the siege on Sana’a airport and open it to civilian flights
