Deputy Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, called on the coalition countries to seize a last opportunity for peace.
“The Saudi side is still in a miscalculation about Sana’a’s handling of the challenges,” Al-Ruwaishan said in a statement. “Saudi Arabia’s problem with Yemen is historical, and its hostile approach still exists.”
He pointed out that the letter of the leader of the Yemeni revolution yesterday put the ball in the court of the coalition countries, which must hurry to seize their last chance.
He affirmed that the Yemeni armed forces are working hard to develop their capabilities without being affected by the de-escalation phase.
On Saturday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in a televised speech, warned Saudi Arabia against continuing to submit to American dictates, threatening it with a firm stance if its hostile approach towards Yemen continues. He also stated there were no positive developments towards alleviating the unjust measures left by the unjust war on Yemen.
