The Commander of the Coastal Defense Forces, Major General Muhammad al-Qadri, affirmed the Coastal Defense Forces’ readiness to respond and deter in the event that the American forces approached the territorial waters of Yemen.
Major General Al-Qadri said that the Coastal Defense Forces have been monitoring the American force since its entry into the Suez Canal, and will not allow it to approach our territorial waters.
He pointed out that the military presence of the American and Zionist forces in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab is provocative, and the Yemeni navy has capabilities and surprises that deter the enemy.
He explained that the Yemeni navy worked during the armistice and de-escalation to build and develop its capabilities in an unprecedented way, and prepared surprises for the enemy.
Major General Al-Qadri stressed that the coastal defense forces will remain ready to respond to any aggression against Yemen, and that they will not allow anyone to violate Yemeni territorial waters
