Dead and wounded in clashes in Shabwa

one person was killed and several others were injured in tribal clashes in Shabwa Governorate, southeastern Yemen.

Local sources said that violent clashes broke out between two armed groups from the al-Hudaib al-Musabi tribes in the al-Hijr area of the Bayhan district.

The sources pointed out that the clashes resulted in the death of one person and the injury of a number of others, while the reasons and motives for the clashes are not yet known.

Tribal conflicts continue throughout the districts of Shabwa, at a time when the tribes accuse the coalition forces and its factions of fueling strife and differences between them, to facilitate their control over the oil province.
