The National Meteorology Center expected on Saturday that rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms in a number of provinces, hot to very hot weather in the coastal areas and deserts, during the next 24 hours.
In its weather forecast, the rains will fall on the provinces of Taiz, Dhalea, Bayda, Ibb, Raymah, Dhamar, Sanaa, Mahweet, Hajjah, Amran, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout.
The weather is expected to be hot in the desert areas and internal plateaus, with maximum temperatures ranging between 38-45 degrees Celsius, while in the coastal areas and the Socotra archipelago will be between 33-40 degrees Celsius.
The center called on citizens to take away from the valley areas and the torrential passages, as well as to low horizontal visibility during and after the rains.
