Supreme Political Council member Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi has affirmed that “whoever does not defend the homeland cannot portray himself as a saviour.”
Mohammad Al-Houthi said that “Any country facing aggression – whatever its capabilities – needs a stage of recovery, even if it is rich, let alone Yemen, which was classified before the aggression as a developing country below the poverty line.”
Yemeni people are experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the United Nations, due to the US-British-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade.
He added, “Patriotism, justice, and credibility means to name who is the aggressor, and to blame the coalition of aggression for what Yemen is suffering. Everyone must stand side by side with those who face this aggression for the sake of the country’s independence, sovereignty, and the people’s freedom and dignity.”
“All countries need to recover from the coronavirus by the year 2030, according to the World Bank report, however Yemen faced the epidemic, military aggression and the ongoing blockade so far,” Al-Houthi added.
The US-Saudi aggression is still imposing a suffocating blockade on Yemen, closing ports and airports with the goal of increasing the suffering of the Yemeni population by creating deteriorating living conditions.
