Report: 40 crimes per day in coalition-controlled areas over the past month

“Information Center” in the “Moral Guidance Department” in the capital, Sana’a, issued an extensive report that monitored the occurrence of 220 crimes and armed violations in the areas under the control of the coalition during the month of July.

According to the center, 146 citizens were killed and injured as a result of these crimes, while 424 citizens were killed and injured in the chaos in the coalition areas during the last period.

The Information Center stated that “this number pertains to the victims who were reported through the media only,” stressing that the actual number of victims exceeds that much.

The report indicated that “official lists issued by the authority of the government loyal to the coalition reveal that 1,295 crimes were recorded during July only.”

According to these lists, “the number of criminal crimes has reached 1,205, at a rate of 40 crimes per day, while the number of non-criminal crimes does not exceed 90 crimes.”

According to the information center’s report, “the crimes that were monitored varied between killing, kidnapping, cutting, torture to death, looting, as well as assassinations, and armed clashes in cities and residential neighborhoods on an almost daily basis.”
