Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a sent a letter of a protest against the harassment of Yemenis residing in Turkey.

Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi said in Twitter” We sent a letter of protest to Ankara as a result of the unjustified harassment of Yemeni nationals residing on its lands that is inappropriate for the historical relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.”

He added that the Yemeni Foreign Ministry had assured Ankara of Sana’a’s insistence on the need to hold the perpetrators who attacked the Yemeni citizen (all in number) accountable and to impose the most severe deterrent penalties against them.

Activists showed a horrific scene of 50 Turks beating, kicking and maltreating a Yemeni youth in a way that reflects the level of racist brutality practiced by some Turks against foreigners, Arabs and Yemenis in particular, while the police were looking at this tragic incident with spectacle and pleasure!
