Saudi Arabia continued to flood Yemen, which it has been waging a war and blockade for years, with foreign debt.

This comes at a time when it continues to acquire oil and gas revenues exported from its oil crescent.

Saudi Arabia announced the disbursement of a new deposit for the benefit of the authority loyal to it in southern Yemen, at about one billion and two hundred million dollars.

The deposit, according to what was included in the announcement, to support the salaries of certain government officials and the Presidential Council.

The Saudi reconstruction program in Yemen indicated that the new deposit raises the size of the Saudi debt to Yemen to more than 21 billion.

In a statement, the program reviewed the size of what Saudi Arabia has provided to Yemen since the start of the war against it under the pretext of restoring legitimacy in March 2015.
