UAE-backed Transitional Council forces insulted the head of the Saudi-formed Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, by leaving him in the dark in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
Sources said that the commander of the Presidential Storm Forces of the Transitional Council, Osan Al-Anshli, turned off the electricity in the Ma’ashiq Presidential Palace after Al-Alimi refused to sign a military appointment decision.
She added that turning off the electricity sparked widespread ridicule among the leadership of the Transitional Council, which intervened an hour later, following Saudi communications, directing Al-Anshli to restore electricity to the palace, especially the Alimi wing.
