Local sources in Ma’rib revealed, on Sunday, secrecy about the killing of a military official in the city.
The sources reported that the supply officer for the 1st Jabali Infantry Brigade, Ahmed Lahib, was killed in mysterious circumstances in the Al-Khasif area.
Neither the Ma’rib authorities nor the party’s media announced any information about the incident.
The killing of Lahib is part of the scenario of assassination military leaders, the pace of which has recently escalated with the return of Ali Mohsen to brandish the “popular resistance” as an alternative to the “National Army,” which was seized by Saghir bin Aziz, the leader of the Tariq wing of the conference in Ma’rib, after the Islah Party was excluded from it.
