The local authority in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the UAE-backed Transitional Council in southern Yemen, warned of an imminent disaster due to torrential rains flowing from Lahj Governorate.

Al-Buraiqa Directorate said in an operational report that a large torrent is likely to reach Wadi Al-Kabir (The Greatest) in the Al-Haswa – Abu Harba area of Al-Buraiqa District, coming from the Al-Husseini area in Lahj.

Calling for caution and informing the residents of the Great Valley to avoid any disaster.

Requesting the security authorities to be prepared to provide the necessary services if floods invade residential areas.
