Tahrir Square in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a has witnessed on Monday evening a torch lighting ceremony in honour of the 61st anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
During the ceremony, the scouting cubs and youth scouts presented a youth show, accompanied by military music and patriotic melodies, reflecting the joys of the Yemeni people on this glorious occasion.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, Minister of Defence Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi, and a number of officials.
At the ceremony, the speeches stressed the importance of continuing to “implement the goals of the September 26 Revolution and correct its course through the September 21 Revolution.
