Factions loyal to Saudi Arabia continued to be on alert in their main stronghold in Hadhramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen.

This came in the wake of new Emirati moves to penetrate the oil plateau.

Informed sources said that dozens of members of the First Military District, affiliated with Islah and supported by Saudi Arabia, deployed in the southern areas of the city of Sayun, and began creating new sites along it.

Last week, factions loyal to Saudi Arabia carried out a similar deployment in the same areas mentioned, fearing a surprise Emirati attack on the city of Sayun.

Conflicts between the two poles of the coalition have been escalating recently, with Emirati efforts to thwart the ongoing negotiations between Sanaa and Riyadh.
